🚀 Hoe je de-wpmanager installeert

Om de-wpmanager te installeren, volg je de onderstaande stappen zorgvuldig. Binnen enkele minuten is alles gereed op je VPS.

✅ Vereisten

  • A VPS with at least 2 GB RAM and a stable internet connection (Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS recommended).
  • Access to your VPS terminal (via SSH).
  • A domain you want to use for managing the-wpmanager.

⚠️ Belangrijk:

Gebruik niet het domein waarop je WordPress-site draait. Dit domein wordt alleen gebruikt voor het beheer en de installatie van de-wpmanager.

📋 Stapsgewijze instructies

  1. Go to the installation page.
  2. Enter the domain where the-wpmanager should run.
  3. After registration, you’ll receive an email at the provided address.
  4. This email contains your personal installation command.
  5. Copy the command and paste it into your VPS terminal.

Zodra je het commando uitvoert, start de installatie automatisch. Binnen enkele minuten kun je het de-wpmanager-dashboard gebruiken.

📧 Hoe je e-mail instelt

Met de-wpmanager kun je professionele e-mailadressen aanmaken op je eigen domein. Volg de stappen om ervoor te zorgen dat noreply@domein.nl veilig e-mails kan verzenden.

⚠️ Belangrijk:

Maak een subdomein aan genaamd mail.jouwdomein.com op hetzelfde hoofddomein waarop de-wpmanager is geïnstalleerd. Stel vervolgens het A-record van dit subdomein in zodat het verwijst naar het server-IP van jouw installatie.

📋 Stapsgewijze instructies

  1. Go to the Mail tab in the dashboard.
  2. Check if there are warnings next to your noreply address.
  3. Click on DNS Info for the noreply address and note the details.
  4. Log in to your domain provider and add an MX record that points to the domain where your WP-Manager is installed.
  5. Add the following DNS records:
    • ✅ TXT record for SPF
    • ✅ TXT record for DMARC
    • ✅ TXT record for DKIM

ℹ️ Belangrijk:

Zodra deze DNS-records wereldwijd actief zijn, kan noreply@jouwdomein.nl correct e-mails verzenden. Dit is essentieel voor functies zoals wachtwoord vergeten of klant-reset.

Wanneer de DNS-records actief zijn, verdwijnt de waarschuwing in het dashboard en is je mailserver klaar voor gebruik.

🌐 Hoe je WordPress op een domein installeert

Met de-wpmanager installeer je eenvoudig WordPress op je eigen domein. Volg deze stappen.

  1. Choose the domain where you want to install WordPress.
  2. Log in to your hosting provider and set the A-record to your VPS IP address.
  3. Open the-wpmanager and go to the WordPress tab.
  4. Enter the desired domain.
  5. When the A-record is correct, WordPress will install automatically.
  6. Once completed, you can immediately start using your new WordPress site.

📮 Hoe je e-mail op een domein instelt

⚠️ Vereiste:

Voordat je e-mail instelt, moet er op dit domein een actieve WordPress-installatie aanwezig zijn.

  1. Log in to your domain provider and create an MX record that points to the domain where your WP-Manager is installed.
  2. In the-wpmanager, go to the Mail tab.
  3. Enter the desired email address and password twice. Tip: for clients, you can use a temporary password.
  4. Click Reset Password and send the link to the user.
  5. Then click Create Email Address to finish setup.

🛠️ Hoe je een database bekijkt

  1. Open the WordPress tab in the-wpmanager.
  2. Click Settings next to the domain you want to view.
  3. Click View Database.
  4. A new page will open. Click Login.
  5. You can now view and edit the database data.

🔑 Hoe je een e-mailwachtwoord wijzigt

📋 Stapsgewijze instructies

  1. Go to the Mail tab in the-wpmanager.
  2. Click Reset Password.
  3. Enter the email address you want to reset.
  4. Click Send Reset Link.
  5. Open the received email and click Reset Password or use the link.
  6. Enter your new password twice and save it.
  7. The new password can now be used in your email app.

⬇️ Hoe je een back-up downloadt

  1. Go to the WordPress tab.
  2. Click Settings next to the domain you want.
  3. Click Create Website Backup.
  4. A ZIP file containing all files and the database will be downloaded.

💾 Hoe je een Worpdress backup herstellen

⚠️ Belangrijk: als de back-up niet van de-wpmanager komt, zorg dan dat het ZIP-bestand slechts één SQL-bestand bevat met de naam wordpress-db-backup.sql. Alleen dan kan de database correct worden geïmporteerd.

  1. Go to the WordPress tab.
  2. Click Settings next to the domain you want.
  3. Click Restore Backup.
  4. Upload a ZIP file containing all WordPress files.
  5. Click Confirm to complete the restore.
